A little fintothewoods update...

As the summer draws to a close, the theatre world is ready for a busy autumn with the large majority of venues fully reopening and tours and West End shows recommencing. This is VERY exciting news for people all over the country. Be that audience members, front of house staff or the cast and creatives of a show. Theatre really is getting back on it's it feet again.

fintothewoods celebrated it's 1st birthday back in July and I never said thank you! So, thank you to everyone who reads and interacts with my blog, whether you're a one time article reader or a subscriber. Every like, share or comment means a lot and inspires me to keep on doing what I'm doing.

That being said, it's time for a little change. Although I have posted more or less once a month, I feel like it's time I ramped up the posting. So get prepared for an autumn/winter full of posts. Look out for reviews of new musical films such as Cinderella, Everybody's Talking About Jamie, Dear Evan Hansen and West Side Story. Some new theatre reviews will also be coming your way (which hopefully includes the new tours of Bedknobs and Broomsticks and Beauty And The Beast). Whilst moving to Guildford for Uni is gonna be so much fun, it's also gonna be awful for my bank account with the West End being less than an hour away on the train!

Today also marks the start of Sondheim September. For the whole month across both my blog and my TikTok (www.tiktok.com/@fintothewoods?lang=en) , I will be celebrating all things Stephen Sondheim. Delving into the history of some of his greatest pieces, I will try and cover as much as I can. So prepare for a tsunami of posts this month!

So that's just a little update of what to expect from fintothewoods.com over the coming months. Hope you enjoy!
